Re: Things I'd like to see in ctwm

Hi,

I would like to add my own requests, if you may. I don't know if these
are already on the Wish-List or not.

(1) A Motif-style confirmation dialog box when f.quit or f.restart is
    invoked.

(2) A vroom-style of having private workspaces. The password to switch
to private rooms could be that in /etc/password, or in ~/.ctwmrc, or
obtained during a session via a dialog box. The latter method also
suggests a mechanism to change the status of a room, from public to
    private and vice-versa.

(3) A olvwm-style panner in the Workspace Manager.

Usually, my Workspace Manager have buttons with text labels on them.
One day, the Manager automagically changed its appearance; I could
see tiny images representing all the windows in each workspace.
By moving the image, I moved the corresponding window; I could even
move it to a different workspace.

So, maybe, this feature is already in ctwm. How did I do that?
And how did I toggle it from text-labels to panner-style? And
    back again?

Should private rooms be hidden? Can a window be moved from a private
room to a non-private room? I vote for yes and no, respectively.

(4) A f.originalsize function to return the window back to its original
size before a f.vertical, f.horizontal, etc and irrgardless which
function was invoked earlier to enlarge the window.

Thanks.

Regards,
fclim.
