Hello,
I am curious whether any other user of ctwm3.5beta1 has seen
this behavior.
I use a HDS Viewstation XTerminal to connect to various machines
at my site. I had xterms running on the different ctwm screens
on different machines - SunOS, SCO UNIX, Linux. I ran different
X apps like web browsers, font viewers, etc... All of a sudden,
I started getting "connection refused: client is not
authorized to connect to server" messages when I would attempt
to run the above X apps.
I thought somebody must have changed something on the machines
to take away authorization, but that was not the case. Then, I
found out that I could display the apps on the XTerminal if I
ran them on the machine on which I run the ctwm window manager.
I got the "auth. refused" on every other machine.
I am curious to compare notes with other users as to whether
anyone has seen this behavior. I was able to get it working
again by exiting all apps and rebooting the XTerminal.
This is not a problem. I would just like to compare notes with
other users.
Ciao,
Guru
