This strikes me as a Good Idea (TM) too. What kinds of
icon manager do you use? Recommendations? I don't use
many apps, but an icon manager would save me finding
root-window space, then clicking on a pop-up and going
to the correct slot and clicking.
I've got perhaps 10x3 cm**2 of free root-window, so if
there are any configurable IM's out there, please drop
a line!
