Looks like this new 3.5beta2 release is worth upgrading to!
I have a situation that is probably not unique. I work from several
different workstations. I would like a way to remap the entire
session in a window (I use Xnest to hold multiple users' workspaces
active at the same time on a single workstation) to a different
X-server. This way, I could pick up where I left off even if I was at
a different workstation. All I want to do is to log into a
workstation somewhere else and telnet to the workstation that is
running my X-session, and then be able to change the DISPLAY for that
Xnest X-server so that I can pick up that session on a different
X-display than it was being displayed on. Any suggestions? I realize
this is only slightly related to the real purpose of this list, but
since I use ctwm as the window manager within Xnest, I thought maybe
there might be something in ctwm that would help with this. Of
course, I would prefer a way that only depended on Xnest itself, since
other users do not necessarily use ctwm.
