I would like to point you to wm2 and to wmx. I believe that everybody
who believes in minimalist window managers should at least have seen
these two programs. They look unlike every other window manager I
have ever seen, and they are very minimalist (wm2 even more so than
wmx). Both are configurable to some (small) extent by frobbing stuff
in the Makefile.
